Moving to North Carolina after living in Indiana for the first 10 years of my life, I soon became fascinated with the idea of making money on my own. At 12 years old, being too young to apply for conventional jobs, I started brainstorming ideas for small businesses that I could start. I tried everything from dog walking and poop cleaning, to lemonade stands and lawn mowing services. Finding more success in the lawn mowing services, I continued with it, eventually making it my main focus. Before I knew it, I went from travelling around my neighborhood on foot with my equipment or having my father drive me around to driving around my own truck and trailer. During this time, I was still in high school, balancing work and school. My last semester I was able to "flex" periods and work before and after going to school. After high school I decided to pursue higher education at South Piedmont Community College. After a couple of semesters, seeing my business grow, and having an increased desire to expand and give my all to my business, I decided to step back and take a break from school in order to pursue my business. After years of working in landscaping I have expanded my business, added numerous services, and have gained lots of knowledge and experience in the field. It is has also taught me what it takes to be successful, how to build a strong work ethic, take great pride in my work, and how to provide the best service I possibly can.
